Dr. Mangadu's research interests are in the areas of minority health disparities, global health, HIV prevention for minority women, Substance Use Disorder, mental health, violence prevention, and public health program evaluation. She and her graduate students conduct community-based research that encompasses service learning, program evaluation, and research service to the community. She also engages in interdisciplinary research collaborations with local, national and international experts
