Dr. Srinivasa Rao Singamaneni is an Associate Professor in the Physics Department at the University of Texas El Paso (UTEP). He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the Indian Institute of Science, with expertise in nanoscale charge-ordered manganites, carbon nanotubes, graphene nanoribbons, and multiferroic materials. His research focuses on three key areas: the magnetic properties of quantum materials, operando spin techniques for catalysis and energy materials, and the study of environmental pollutants. He has received funding from NSF, DOE, and other organizations, and under his mentorship, students have secured prestigious fellowships. Dr. Singamaneni also serves on the MRS Awards Committee.
